Sundeep Kumar Paulraj is an experienced DevOps Engineer with over 14 years of experience in the internet industry. He has a Master of Science degree in Bioinformatics from Alpha College of Arts & Science. Currently, he works as a Senior DevOps Engineer at Rakuten where he manages the release and deployment process, develops and maintains Jenkins jobs, and provides after-hours on-call support. He also works on infrastructure development to meet the requirements of the developers and ensures the maintenance and management of application servers. Before joining Rakuten, Sundeep worked as a Technical Lead at Cognizant where he researched and evaluated technical requirements to design and develop container as a service and platform as a service platforms on cloud and virtual platforms such as VMware. He also performed daily duties of a Linux administrator and provided training and mentoring support to developers and other technical communities to enhance adoption of DevOps methodology and toolsets. He has also worked as a Senior Administrator at Wipro where he was responsible for supporting systems and solutions that monitor and report the health of infrastructure and applications. He researched and evaluated technical requirements to design and develop robust IT infrastructure and provided IT monitoring support for server infrastructures, web applications, and other stand-alone applications using IT infrastructure monitoring tools and support processes. Sundeep has a strong skill set in DevOps, Continuous Integration, Cloud Security, VMware Infrastructure, and Amazon Web Services (AWS). He is also skilled in Kubernetes, Ansible, Redis, RabbitMQ, MySQL, MongoDB, Jenkins, and integration. He has a demonstrated history of working in the internet industry as a research scientist and senior software engineer.
